<p>High-efficiency non-isolated SMT switching regulator — up to 95 % efficiency in ultra-thin and open-frame variants</p>

<p>The new LMTO78 series is a non-isolated, high-efficiency DC/DC switching regulator in an SMT package,<br>developed for modern, energy-efficient electronic assemblies where efficiency, reliability, and compactness are equally critical. The series is available in two mechanical variants: the LMTO78_0.5R in an ultra-thin SMT housing of just 3.5 mm height (12.50 x 13.50 x 3.50 mm) and the LMTO78_0.5R1 in an open-frame design (12 x 12 x 4.5 mm). Both variants deliver 500 mA output current and are available across a broad output-voltage range from 3.3 to 15 VDC</p>



<p>With an efficiency of up to 95 % at full load, the LMTO78 series minimises power dissipation and operates<br>entirely without external heatsinks — a decisive advantage for densely populated PCBs and compact<br>enclosures. The no-load input current is as low as 0.2 mA, further reducing energy consumption in stand-by. Depending on the output version, the input voltage range extends from 4.75 to 36 VDC, reliably covering standard 24 V industrial buses with wide voltage-tolerance bands.</p>



<p>Engineered for outstanding reliability, the LMTO78 series achieves an impressive MTBF of 2,000,000 hours<br>(MIL-HDBK-217F @ 25 °C) and operates stably across a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C (with derating from 71 °C). The integrated continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery safeguards the system even under fault conditions. The LMTO78_0.5R additionally features a remote on/off input (Ctrl) and meets MSL Level 1 for unlimited floor life under standard conditions.</p>



<p>Both variants comply with CISPR32/EN 55032 Class B (using the recommended external circuit) and meet the relevant immunity requirements, including ESD up to ±4 kV (contact) and surge up to ±1 kV. With a switching frequency of 500 kHz (LMTO78_0.5R) and 1.2 MHz (LMTO78_0.5R1), the series can be flexibly tailored to different filter-design and component-size requirements. The LMTO78 series is fully RoHS-compliant, underlining GAPTEC&#8217;s commitment to environmentally friendly and high-quality power-supply solutions</p>

<p>The new LMTM78 series is a non-isolated, regulated DC/DC switching regulator housed in an ultra-compact SMT package, engineered for space-critical and energy-efficient applications in modern electronics. The series is available in two current variants: the LMTM78_0.5R1 delivers 500 mA and the LMTM78_1.0R1 delivers 1,000 mA of output current — both featuring a wide 6.5 to 36 VDC input voltage range and a regulated 5 V output (also available as a -5 V variant).</p>



<p>The standout feature of the series is its remarkably compact and slim form factor of only 9.00 x 7.00 x 3.00 mm — an ideal footprint for highly integrated assemblies where every square millimetre counts. With an efficiency of up to 91 % at full load and a no-load current of just 0.1 mA, the LMTM78 series delivers excellent energy utilisation in both active operation and stand-by. No external heatsink is required, significantly simplifying integration and reducing overall system complexity.</p>



<p>Designed for reliable continuous operation, the series covers an extended temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C (with derating from 71 °C). A continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery safeguards the downstream system even under fault conditions. An MTBF of 1,000,000 hours (MIL-HDBK-217F @ 25 °C) underlines the long-term reliability of the series.</p>



<p>Operating at a switching frequency of 500 kHz with a typical ripple &amp; noise of 50 mVp-p and built-in light-load frequency-reduction technology to reduce power consumption at low loads, the LMTM78 series provides a stable and clean supply for sensitive downstream electronics. The module complies with EN 55032 Class B (using the recommended external circuit) as well as ESD (±4 kV contact) and surge (±1 kV) immunity requirements. The flame-retardant black plastic case is certified to UL94 V-0. The converter follows the international standard SMD pin-out on a 2.54 mm grid and is supplied on tape &amp; reel for automated assembly.</p>

Operating temperature range is -40°C ~ +85°C and the modules offer an efficiency of up to 84%.<br />

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>GAPTEC Electronic presents the new LMO78_3.0 Switching Regulator series.</strong></p>
<p>The most recent DC-DC converter series of the GAPTEC Electronic product portfolio offers a non-isolated high efficiency SIP5 open frame package switching regulator: (L x W x H): 15.5/16.5 x 9.4/10.4 x 6.0mm. The operation of this LMO78_3.0 series does not require any heatsink and guarantees a high efficiency of up to 95%. Furthermore this series offers short circuit protection (SCP) and a low ripple &amp; noise characteristic. This product is featured with an output adjustable trim-pin and offers on top a control pin. The LMO78_3.0 series has a wide input range (4.5V to 30V – almost 7:1). The no load input current is at 30mA (typ.).</p>
<p>These switching regulators are widely used in industrial control, instrumentation, and electric power applications.<br />
GAPTEC Electronic guarantees very short delivery times. The product warranty is 3 years.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The product portfolio of GAPTEC Electronic has been enlarged by adding new high efficient DC-DC LED Drivers with an ultra-wide<br />
input range from 5.5V up to 48V. Those LED Drivers come in different versions:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>LEDD10-Series:</strong> up to 700mA (through hole versions in a DIP case)</li>
<li><strong>LEDD24-Series:</strong> up to 1200mA (through hole versions in a DIP-case)</li>
<li><strong>LEDW10-Series:</strong> up to 700mA (lead wired versions in a DIP case)</li>
<li><strong>LEDT16-Series:</strong> up to 700mA (in SMT)</li>
</ul>
<p>The efficiency of the LED Drivers is up to 96%. The output mode is constant current. All the drivers are continuous short circuit<br />
protected (SCP), feature a remote ON/OFF function and match the IP67 level standard and therefore are certified as waterproof.<br />
All series offer a built-in EMI filter (according to EN55015 standard) as well as PWM and analog dimming. Moreover the drivers<br />
draw value due to a very low ripple and noise (&lt;100mV) and are RoHs 6/6 compliant. The new LED Driver series offer the<br />
succeeding output power: 300, 350, 500, 600, 700, 1000 and 1.200mA.</p>

</strong>The SIP3 open frame switching regulators are the low cost alternative in comparison to classic linear regulators for discrete<br />
solutions. The temperature range is -40°C up to +85°C. The switching regulators of both series are continuous short circuit<br />
protected (SCP) and are offering a very high efficiency of up to 92%. The LMO-78-series offers a wide input range: 4.75VDC up to<br />
36VDC for the 0.5A series and 4.75VDC up to 32 VDC for the 1A series. Both series have output voltages of: 3.3; 5; 12 and 15V and<br />
are furthermore RoHs compliant (6/6). The LMO78-series switching regulators are ideal for the use in distributed supply systems,<br />
battery operated systems, controllers, sensors and positioning systems.<br />
GAPTEC Electronic offers very short delivery times. The product warranty is 3 years.</p>
