DC-DC Converters

Galvanic isolated

Our DC-DC power supplies are trusted by OEMs and used in Industry Control, Medical applications, Telecom and Communication, Transportation and Railway. Our power supplies meet the most important specifications in terms of output voltage ripple, low noise, high density, high efficiency (up to 90%), wide operating temperature range (up to -40 °C/+100 °C), input/output insulation and EMC. Gaptec has a broad range of DC-DC converters, with Output Power ranges from 0.25 watt to 50 watts. Products are available as Service Mount and PCB Mount, in ultra small packages with high power density and isolation voltages up to 6kVDC.

DC-DC Converters(Railway)

Developed for Railway Vehicle Applications

Our DC-DC converters are especially designed for the requirements of railway technology according to the EN50155. The series can be used for required track voltages: 72 VDC, 96 VDC & 110 VDC with a 4:1 input voltage range (40–160 VDC).
An advanced insulation strength (2250 VDC), high efficiency at low ripple & noise levels and an extended temperature range (–40 °C – +85 °C) as well as built-in protection circuits are characteristics for those DC-DC converters. The design complies with IEC60950, UL60950 & EN 60950 standards. Heat sinks are optional.

DC-DC Converters (Telecom Power)

Our telecom power DC-DC converters are widely applied in optical networking equipment, wireless base stations, microwave radio communications, telecom and data equipment applications. They feature high efficiency up to 88%, an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, output over-voltage and output over-current, output short circuit protection. They feature 1500VDC isolation and our telecom power DC-DC converters are UL-60950-1 certified.

DC-DC Converters (Step-Down Regulators)

Our DC-DC Converters (POL) are trusted by OEMs and used in Long-time Stand-by Battery, Handheld Equipment and Portable devices. Those converters are designed as an alternative to replace triple-port linear regulators. Our Point of Load Switching Regulators meet the most important specifications in terms of output voltage ripple, low noise, high density, high efficiency (up to 96%), wide operating temperature range (up to -40 °C to + 85 °C). Gaptec has a broad range of DC-DC converters, with Output Power ranges from 1 watt to 30 watts. Products are available as Board Mount and Chassis Mount.

DC-DC Converters(Photovoltaic)

Galvanic isolated high input voltage

Our DC-DC converters (DCP series) are generally used in the control and monitoring system for photovoltaic installations. Those converters are characterized by an extremely wide input voltage range of 200 – 1200VDC in and in addition they are offering a high galvanic isolation (4kVDC). The operating temperature range is from -40 ° C to +70 ° C. Our DCP series offers the following power classes: 5, 10, 15 & 40 watts, along with the common industry standard output voltages. All converters are SCP (short circuit protected) to protect the converter and applications in the area of ​​operation. The products are offered in compact size and in metal housings as through hole versions.

AC-DC Modules

PCB mounted

Our standard and custom designed AC-DC power supplies are qualified by OEMs and used for Municipal AC Electric Power Systems, Instrument and Metering, Communication and Medical Equipment. The modules provide universal input, high efficiency, high reliability, very low stand-by power and they are energy saving. Our AC/DC Modules meet the most important requirements as far as operating temperature (-40~+71 ℃), low ripple/noise, multiple protections, and they come with very small size dimensions. The parts provide universal input: 85~264VAC or (120-370VDC).

AC-DC DIN-Rail

DIN-rail mounted

The ACDR_S/SC series features standard rail mounting, energy efficiency and is highly cost-effective. The series offers stability and high noise immunity especially for industrial control equipment, machinery and other demanding environments for industrial equipment. The ACDR series modules provide universal input (85-264VAC/220-375VDC), high efficiency up to 94%, high reliability, a built-in active PFC; PF>0.95 and they are energy saving. These Din Rail Modules offer Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Over Load Protection (OLP) and Over temperature Protection (OTP) as well as Short Circuit Protection.

AC-DC Off Board

Off board modules with and w/o fan options

The ACP_SC(F) series features single output power supply with active PFC and built-in cooling fan speed control option; especially for industrial control equipment, machinery and other demanding environments for industrial equipment. The ACP series modules provide universal input (85-264VAC/ 220-370VDC), high efficiency up to 87.5%, high reliability, a built-in active PFC; PF>0.95 and they are energy saving. These AC/DC modules are operating in altitudes up to 5000 meters (approx. 16,400ft), they come with a 100% full load burn-in test and offer easy assembling from the top side.

DC-DC Converters(LED Drivers)

Constant current dimmable

Our Constant Current DC-DC LED Drivers offer a very wide input voltage range to guarantee a constant light level throughout the life span of driving LED’s. Possible Applications can be found in the consumer & the industrial area. Selected types offer the option/ability to either use the Analogue or the PWM dimming mode. The selected small case sizes (Micro DIP, DIP24 or the SMD16 housing for SMT processing) allow currents of 300 - 1200mA and meet the EN55015 Standard with the already built-in EMI filter. Continuous Short Circuit Protection (SCP) and high efficiencies up to 97% ensure a long life and very high MTBF values. GAPTEC Electronic offers customers short lead times and a 3-year warranty.

DC-DC Converters(IGBT & SiC)

Galvanic isolated asymmetric power

Our brand new regulated DC-DC Power Modules Series - especially designed for driving IGBT and SiC Drivers - can be widely used in Frequency Transformers, AC Servo Control Systems, Welding Equipment and UPS (Uninterrubtible Power Supplies). Specially tailored to meet the IGBT & SiC Driver Technology Standard, those Power Modules offer a wide range of protection features - such as: Output Overvoltage Protection and (SCP) Continuous Short Cicuit Protection, that grant a safe operation. High insulation up to 6kVDC, isolated outputs and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C meet all the safety requirements for SiC Drivers. The Power Modules are designed according to EN60950 & IEC 60950 requirements. GAPTEC Electronic offers customers short lead times and a 3-year warranty.
