This new series offers an ultra-wide input voltage range (6-50VDC!) in a compact design with an output voltage of 5VDC / 4000mA. This new 3 watt converter with a standard SIP8 package fulfills all TS16949 requirements in the manufacturing process for the automotive industry. The system control and the components comply with the AEC-Q100 standards applied in the automotive industry. The converters of this series have an insulation voltage of 4300VDC and offer the standard short circuit protection (SCP) for GAPTEC products. The input voltage ranges between 7-18VDC. The output voltage of this regulated converter is 15VDC (200mA). The operating temperature range is between -40° C and + 105° C (with derating) and the efficiency of this series is up to 82%.
