GAPTEC Electronic presents the new 30DMW4_1.6 series.

If you need full power in the smallest space, the newest DC/DC Converter of GAPTEC’s product family might be what you are looking for. Up to 30 watts of power in an operating temperature range of -40 ° C to + 85 ° C (with derating), guarantees space-saving power. The compact DIP package design (L x W x H) 25.4 x 25.4 x 10.4 mm, takes this powerful converter almost anywhere on your PCB. This new series offers 1.6kVDC insulation and is also short-circuit protected (SCP). Other significant features of this 30DMW4 series are: overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection and over temperature protection. A remote on/off function and a trim able output are making this series the ideal power transformer for use in: telecom applications, wireless networks, industrial control systems, measurement tools and battery-operated devices. GAPTEC Electronic offers customers short delivery times and a 3-year warranty on the products of this series.

DC-DC Power Converters especially designed for driving IGBT & SiC drivers

GAPTEC Electronic presents the new IGBT & SiC DC-DC converter series 5DABT, 5S7BT and 5S7SiC.

The converters of the new series are available in SIP7 and DIP24 case designs. All series are equipped with an asymmetrical voltage output and a power sharing mode (asymmetric load possible). The efficiency of these converters is up to 85%. The insulation voltage of the series ranges between 3kVDC and 6kVDC and all units provide continuous short-circuit protection. The operating temperature range is from -40 °C up to + 105 °C. In addition, the units provide very low coupling capacitance. The series complies with UL60950 guidelines. The converters of the new IGBT & SiC series typically find use for the control of IGBT drivers in AC servo drive systems, electric welding machines and uninterruptible power supplies. GAPTEC Electronic guarantees very short lead times. The product warranty is 3 years.

Regulated 5 & 10 Watts DC/DC converters for use in photovoltaic systems

GAPTEC Electronic presents its new regulated 5 & 10 Watts DC/DC converter series 5DCP and 10DCP. This DC/DC converter series is ideally suited for use in photovoltaic systems, because those converters have an extremely wide input voltage range (6:1!) and additionally they cover a Vin range from 200VDC to 1.200VDC. Despite regulation, these converters offer a high efficiency of up to 83 % and work in standard temperature range of -40 °C to +70 °C. The converters are continuous short circuit protected (SCP), offer a low-voltage protection (input under voltage protection) and also an over voltage protection (input over voltage protection).
In addition, both series are characterized by a high isolation strength of 4.000VDC and a long service life (MTBF 300k/h). GAPTEC Electronic offers customers short delivery times and a 3-year warranty on the DC/DC converters of both series.

Compact 3 Watts DC/DC power in an ultra-miniature SMD package

GAPTEC Electronic presents its new 3 watts SMD series: 3MT28A. This series offers an ultra-compact DC/DC converter with miniature dimensions: W * H * D (7.5 x 6.6 x 19.0 mm). Full 3 watts power available in the smallest space.
The unregulated DC voltage converters are continuous short circuit protected (SCP) and provide an input voltage tolerance of +/-10%. The 3MT28A series also has an efficiency of up to 85 % and guarantees an isolation voltage of 1.500VDC. The converters operate in the temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and with derating starting at 71°C. GAPTEC Electronic offers these SMD converters also as a taped and reel version for insertion machines. GAPTEC Electronic further offers customers short delivery times and a 3-year warranty on the converters of this series.

Regulated 50 Watt DC/DC converter for 3.3, 5, 12, 15 & 24VDC output voltages

GAPTEC Electronic presents its new 50 Watt-DC/DC converter series. These powerful units provide a wide input voltage range of 18-36VDC and 36-75VDC and provide high efficiency up to 93%. The 50 watt power are offered in a compact 2″x1″ and 6-fold shielded housing. The working temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and up to 60°C without derating, corresponds to the industry standard. Other features of the 50DAW series: trim able output voltage, high-performance EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) and 1500V isolation voltage. Moreover, this converter series is equipped with an input protection circuit against over and under voltage, and a circuit output protection against overvoltage, overload and short-circuit current peaks.
